Learn about the capabilities of the FarmGAS Scenario Tool and its new functions* along with the challenges and experiences of its creators.
In this webinar, Renelle Jeffrey from the Australian Farm Institute will talk about FarmGAS, an online greenhouse gas estimation and scenario tool developed by the Australian Farm Institute with funding from DAFF and MLA to estimate a farm’s annual GHG emissions.
FarmGAS estimates emissions at the individual enterprise level and for the farm as a whole and also examines the impact different greenhouse mitigation options may have on farm emissions. The Scenario Tool also provides enterprise Gross Margin templates for economic assessment.
Renelle has recently joined the Australian Farm Institute, after 7 years with Australian Wool Innovation as the Program Manager of the Environment and Climate Portfolio. Renelle has a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) and is currently studying for a Master of Environmental Systems, Markets and Climate Change.
