PIARN is pleased to announce the inaugural PIARN Master Class on climate change adaptation in the primary industries. This exciting and unique initiative has been developed to build capacity amongst early and mid career researchers, research managers and policy analysts in the climate change adaptation space.
The Master Class program is structured as a series of three-day modules held in different locations across rural and regional Australia. Participants will meet producers at the coalface of adaptation and find out how research, policies and new knowledge could help the primary industries manage climate change risks and opportunities.
Each module will involve farm and site visits, interactive workshops with top researchers and industry leaders, and open forums with producers, policy makers and other key industry figures.
More information on the Master Class program will be available as speakers and activities are confirmed.
Applications for the inaugural PIARN Master Class program have now closed and the program is underway.
Photos, presentations and a summary of the first session in South Australia are available at www.piarn.org.au/events/piarn-master-class/SA-presentations.
