Postgraduate travel grants for NCCARF Conference

PIARN is offering financial support for up to 10 postgraduate students working on topics relevant to climate change adaptation in the primary industries to attend the 2012 National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility  (NCCARF) Conference and the associated postgraduate workshop. Applicants can be undertaking Honours, Masters or PhD studies.

The Conference, Climate Adaptation in Action 2012: sharing the knowledge to adapt, will be held in Melbourne in June 2012, and will focus on the information needed to ensure Australia is adapting well to climate change.

Successful interstate applicants will receive complimentary student registration (valued at $500) and a $1000 travel bursary to cover travel and accommodation costs. Successful Victorian applicants will receive complimentary student registration.

Travel grant recipients will attend the NCCARF Conference from 26-28 June 2012, along with the associated postgraduate workshop on 25 June 2012. Applicants must have submitted at abstract to the NCCARF Conference (call for abstracts closed 17 February 2012).

Applications close 5 pm Friday 30 March 2012. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by mid-April.
